About
I'm the co-editor of The Sprawl Mag, a speculative fiction, poetry, and art magazine that highlights the work of marginalized writers, whose perspectives have been left out of the science fiction and fantasy genres. I believe in uplifting innovative and diverse voices.
I was born in Botswana and grew up moving around, from Sri Lanka to British Columbia, Mongolia to Bangladesh. I now live with my girlfriend in Winnipeg, on Treaty One territory, on the lands of the Anishinaabeg, Cree, Dakota, Dene, Métis, and Oji-Cree Nations.
Some of my favourite speculative writers are Arkady Martine, Becky Chambers, and Ted Chiang. When I’m not reading or writing, you can find me on my yoga mat or petting puppies.
